ONLINE SAFETY

ISOC Ghana marked Cybersecurity Awareness Month and the International Day of the Girl Child with an impactful outreach at Gbawe Gonse M/A Basic 3 School. The event brought together young girls eager to explore the world of technology, digital safety, and STEM, highlighting the importance of equipping the next generation with the skills and confidence to navigate a digital future.

A heartfelt thank you goes to our incredible speaker, Olayinka Naa Dzama Wilson-Kofi of Ericsson and Women in Cyber, who captivated the girls with her inspiring talk. She shared practical knowledge, empowering stories, and actionable tips that boosted their confidence and sparked curiosity in STEM and cybersecurity, showing them that the digital world is a space where they can excel and lead.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Education and Sustainability Committee, especially the chairperson, Golde Assan, and all the volunteers whose dedication and hard work made the event both meaningful and memorable. Their commitment ensured that each participant received guidance, encouragement, and a sense of belonging in the tech community.
