Today, ISOC Ghana joins the rest of the world to celebrate International Women’s Day. This day is symbolic of the historic journey women around the world have taken to better our lives and especially in contributing to shaping our dream internet with our work and advocacy.
The official theme for International Women’s Day, 8 March 2021 (IWD 2021) is, “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world” and celebrates the tremendous efforts by women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
To celebrate this day, we launched the #SheCan campaign to spotlight women in our community and motivate others in their journey. At the end of this month, we will assemble on meeting for all women and we welcome support from all men.
Here are the voices of the women in our community.
